I have a short memory

Me:	I am sort of sick of the violence associated with advertising. People are always firing me emails. Or shooting me dates. Or asking me what lines they should kill.
Her:	Didn't you just write a big essay about all the ways advertising is like war?
Me:	Yes. But I have a short memory.
